It's official - I have some of the best friends a girl could ask for.
So a little while ago, there's a knock at the door and a parcel is delivered. I open it up (how fun is getting mail that isn't bills or vaccine appointments?) and inside are the BEAUTIFUL biscuits pictured below.
Yes, they were delicious, and yes, that's the name of my debut novel printed on them! I squealed and I see the note from Ellie, Alex, and their greyhound, Moose. I've always said Moose is a thoughtful dog.
But seriously, this was such a wonderful surprise and it made me so so happy.
And it wasn't just this instance, I've been overwhelmed with support over the last few months - get well soon cards and gifts before my open heart surgery in July (whooo that might be a blog post in itself soon), moving in cards, birthday presents, new job presents, congratulations-you-wrote-a-book presents, I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported me over the whirlwind of the last few months, and there has been a bloody village there for me.
